IPAF-Approved MEWP Training in Dublin and Across Ireland

About this Course

Under Irish work-at-height rules, employers must make sure anyone using a mobile elevating work platform is trained and competent. On most Irish sites, data centres, pharma plants and retail fit-outs, the IPAF PAL card is how operators prove it.

Our Dublin course gets you there in a day. Training happens on the machines, so you finish confident with the controls, the checks and what to do if something goes wrong at height.

Who Should Attend

This course is for anyone in Ireland who needs to operate a scissor lift or boom, including:

    • First-time scissor lift and cherry picker operators
    • Operators renewing a PAL card before it expires
    • Electricians and M&E crews on Dublin data centre, pharma and commercial projects
    • Fit-out, signage, glazing and cladding installers
    • Facilities and maintenance teams in warehouses, airports and retail
    • Contractors who need an IPAF card to get onto a client’s site
    • New to powered access or renewing, you’ll leave competent, confident and compliant.

Course Aims

To train operators to inspect, set up and operate MEWPs safely, and to use fall protection correctly.

Delegates also learn to handle emergencies at height, and leave with an IPAF PAL card that meets Irish site requirements.
