The IPAF programme is for any operator, supervisor or manager required to select, carry out pre-use checks, and adjust and inspect harnesses and lanyards for MEWP usage.
Aim:
To instruct the candidate in the basic theoretical and practical knowledge required to efficiently use fall arrest and restraint equipment and to carry out pre use harness and lanyard inspections as required by current legislations.

Assessment method:
The course will consist of classroom-based tutorials, demonstrations and practical and written tests.
Successful candidates will receive a digital Powered Access Licence (PAL) upon downloading the IPAF ePAL app, however physical PAL cards can be granted upon request at an additional cost. The certificate is valid for 5 years.
