The course is aimed at those working on the Openreach network or similar utilities including suppliers and contractors.

Course Aim:

This training is essential for operators to refresh their safe dig, plant protection and operations knowledge and expertise. Delegates will review legal requirements, ensure safety compliance, and understand procedures and appropriate documentation and classifications.

• Joint box identification
• Installation of two prefabricated joint boxes

Pre-requisites

SA006, SWQR Unit LA,Unit01, Unit02, Unit 3.

• Hi-Vis Clothing
• Safety Boots
• Safety Helmet
• Gloves
• Eye Shields
• Flame Retardant Clothing (Legging tops, or overalls)

Assessment Method:

This Q028 training course combines theory and practical training methods to ensure delegates gain the knowledge required to prepare them for their assessment. Practical demonstrations and hands-on training is conducted throughout the course.

Certification:

Upon Successful completion of the course, candidates will be issued with an Openreach Certificate valid for 3 years.
