S8 PIA Overhead Cable Installation – Re-accreditation – 1 day

Aim

The S8 re-accreditation is designed to renew the competency of experienced Communication Providers engineers and contractors in deploying drop cable within the Openreach Overhead infrastructure safely. It ensures adherence to agreed network quality standards associated with PIA CP cable deployment.

Pre-requisites

• SA001 – must be at least 6 months left on cert
• Evidence of valid S8 (accreditation can’t have lapsed and there must be at least 3 months left on existing certification)

Additional Notes
Re-accreditation is testing only and attendees are simply being tested on their existing knowledge from their previous training. If they fail they need to complete the full course again.
