Who should attend?

This S9 PIA Pole Stepping on Congested Poles course is suitable for Communication Providers (CP) engineers and contractors working in the Openreach infrastructure including Northern Ireland.

Aim

The S9 Pole Stepping On Congested Poles course aims to provide relevant and substantive training to anyone working in or coming in contact with Openreach infrastructure.

Objectives

The module assesses the delegate’s knowledge and ability to increase space in the upper pole envelope by moving the top bass step downwards in line with the current PIA terms and conditions and also to understand the new upper envelope of space and its measurement

Pre-Requisites

The candidates should be adequately trained in the CP’s standard method of pole access and have been accredited on S8 – PIA Overhead Cable Installation.
