Who Should Attend: This course is tailored for individuals overseeing engineers or conducting Overhead Survey tasks within the external overhead telecommunications infrastructure, excluding climbing activities. This accreditation is available to anyone over the age of 16 who is capable of reaching the required standard.

Course Aim: The aim is to equip candidates with the necessary knowledge and skills to understand and mitigate the hazards and potential risks associated with safely working on ladders and wooden poles within a telecommunications environment.

• Demonstrate proficiency in accessing a pole using a ladder.

Assessment method

The achievement demonstrates the capability to effectively utilise pertinent knowledge, concepts, skills, and procedures to accomplish defined tasks and tackle simple problems. It entails taking ownership of task completion, exercising autonomy, and making judgments within established parameters or guidance. Upon Successful completion of the course, you will be issued with a Smart Awards Certificate valid for 3 years.
